A:	小玉	，	这	是	谁？
	Xiǎo yù	,	zhè	shì	shéi?

Xiao yu, who is this?

B:	这	是	我	的	好	朋友	，	天天。
	Zhè	shì	wǒ	de	hǎo	péng yǒu	,	tiān tiān.

This is my good friend, tian tian.

A:	那	是	谁？
	Nà	shì	shéi?

Who is that?

B:	那	是	芳芳。
	Nà	shì	fāng fāng.

That is fang fang.

B:	妈妈	，	你	有	几个	好	朋友？
	Mā ma	,	nǐ	yǒu	jǐ gè	hǎo	péng you?

Mum, how many good friends do you have?

A:	我	有	两个	好	朋友。
	Wǒ	yǒu	liǎng gè	hǎo	péng you.

I have two good friends.

B:	她们	都	在	北京	吗？
	Tā men	dōu	zài	běi jīng	ma?

Are they both in Beijing?

A:	她们	都	不	在	北京	，	她们	都	在	上海。
	Tā men	dōu	bú	zài	běi jīng	,	Tā men	dōu	zài	shàng hǎi.

Neither of them are in Beijing. They are both in Shanghai.

Dialogue 2)

A:	安娜	，	你	要	喝	什么？	茶	还是	咖啡？
	Ān nà	,	nǐ	yào	hē	shén me?	Chá	hái shì	kā fēi?

Anna, what do you want to drink? Tea or coffee?

B:	我	要	一	杯	茶	，	谢谢。
	Wǒ	yào	yì	bēi	chá	,	xiè xie.

I want a cup of tea, thank you.

A:	不	客	气。
	Bú	kè	qì.

You are welcome.

B:	这	是	谁	的	书？
	Zhè	shì	shéi	de	shū?

Whose book is it?

A:	这	是	丽丽	的	书。
	Zhè	shì	lì lì	de	shū.

This is Lily's book.

B:	丽丽	在	哪	里？
	lì lì	zài	nǎ	lǐ?

Where is Lily?

A:	她	在	公司。
	Tā	zài	gōng sī.

She is in the company.

I want tea or coffee.

6	这	是	谁	的	钱包？
	Zhè	shì	shéi	de	qián bāo?

Whose wallet is this?

	这	是	我	的	钱包。
	Zhè	shì	wǒ	de	qián bāo.

This is my wallet.

7	你	在	家	吗？
	Nǐ	zài	jiā	ma?

Are you at home?

	我	不	在	家	，	我	在	公司。
	Wǒ	bú	zài	jiā	,	wǒ	zài	gōng sī.

I'm not at home. I'm in the company.

8	我	的	手机	在	哪里？
	Wǒ	de	shǒu jī	zài	nǎ lǐ?

Where is my mobile phone?

	你	的	手机	在	这里/那里。
	Nǐ	de	shǒu jī	zài	zhè lǐ / nà lǐ.

Your mobile phone is here/ over there.

9	你	要	喝	什么？
	Nǐ	yào	hē	shén me?

What do you want to drink?

	我	要	喝咖啡/喝茶	，	谢谢.
	Wǒ	yào	hē kā fēi/hē chá	,	xiè xiè.

I want to drink coffee/ tea, Thank you.

	不	客	气。
